Judge Rules for Democrats in Push to Redraw N.Y.C. House District

The ruling, which is expected to be appealed, allows the state to change the boundary lines of a district held by a Staten Island Republican since 2021.The only Republican district in New York City, represented by Nicole Malliotakis of Staten Island, would be redrawn under the court ruling.
