Syracuse Drops 84 Programs Including Classics, Ceramics and Italian

In all, 93 of the 460 academic programs at the university will be closed or paused. No students were majoring in 55 of the programs that are ending.Even though Syracuse University is eliminating or halting enrollment in 20 percent of the degree programs, coursework in those subjects will continue.
