The essay, written for a psychology class by a University of Oklahoma student, called the idea of multiple genders “demonic.” The instructor said it did not answer the assignment.Responding to a scholarly article that discussed teasing as a way to enforce gender norms, the University of Oklahoma student wrote, “I do not necessarily see this as a problem.”
